万科梅沙书院：墙非墙，打破建筑想象的“墙之旅”
划定区域，承受重量，提供安全与庇护，墙以笃定的姿态建构空间的维度。打破它，重构它，延展它，在无定所的世界里，探索“非建筑”的想象。以“用非建筑材料建造一堵墙”作为主题，由万科梅沙书院艺术学院艺术总监石忞旻老师带领学生创作的空间艺术课Mid-term作品展已在11月9日顺利开幕，展期一个月。
六位学生在八周的时间里，探索研究了各种材料的性能和构建方式。这既是一个独具实验性的课程，也是一次意想不到的“墙之旅”。
在六位来自梅沙书院艺术学院的学生作品中：
· 有以初心的敏感，制造柔软灵动的“心情之墙”；· 有利用可口可乐框，重构光影秩序的“凹点之墙”；· 有大胆追问光的颜色、人的本质的“墙非墙”；· 有重复重复再重复，在单一中构筑组织的“Tape墙”· 有发掘日常材料，制造不寻常的“塑料瓶之墙”；· 有强调抽象几何，打破点线面规则的“雕塑之墙”。

展览主题这是一场关于使用非建筑材料建造一堵墙的展览，墙是用来划定区域，承受重量，和提供安全与庇护的结构。我们可以考虑用传统建筑材料和已经被发明出来的建造方式去搭建一堵墙，那会让我们沉浸在自我重复所建立起的坚固王国中。在这个项目里，学生被要求做出“非建筑”的想象，从而去探索设计上的无限可能，扩大和改变空间设计的边界。
This show is about using non-architectural materials to build a wall.
A wall is a structure that defines an area, carries a lad, or provides shelter or security. To create a wall, we could consider “architecture” everything that has already been designed and/or built. That would define a realm of conventional solutions, often repeated in a self-referential system. In this project, we imagined a counterpart, a “Non architecture”. A world of unexplored designs and countless possibilities, that if found, could enlarge and change the boundaries of architecture and space design.

硕士毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚大学设计学院视觉艺术专业， 曾于宾夕法尼亚大学担任教学助理并独立授课，此后在纽约和北京辅导中美高中生及大学本科生进行作品集创作。拥有独立的艺术工作室，她的作品曾多次在纽约、费城、米兰、北京等地展出。

The Time I Saw You遇见你时的心情

作品介绍：少年时喜欢上一个人的时候心思往往是最率真最单纯的，是透明澄澈的。相信每个人都记得遇见喜欢的人的时候那种脸红心跳的感觉，那种难以捉摸的情绪波动，是紧张，是激动，是发自内心的开心，还有想要躲避的动摇。这种心动的感觉无法抑制，越压抑越强烈，只能任由其自由生长然后占据一切，复杂、絮乱，却又最鲜活、最快乐。相信不管是怎样的男生女生，在为一个人倾倒的时候，他们自身都是最天真的模样。
这个作品是一面由大量软PVC板组成的墙，同时也是一座近长方体的雕塑。重重叠叠的透明PVC板与光和影产生了完美的互动，在热风枪的作用下，PVC板随机且自然地发生形变，板与板在高温的作用下互相融合，彼此之间的协作优雅和谐。这面墙在物理上给人的直观感觉或许是高大的，它虽然近乎透明但是却能给人以震撼，就像喜欢一个人是一件小事，但也是件天大的事，有时它会占据你所有的注意力。同样，它也是灵动和柔软的，是还在生长的，正如一个人喜欢一个人时的内心，有着无限的温柔。
Introduction：The time I have a crush on a boy, my mind is always simple and pure, transparent and clear. People seldom forget the feelings they have when they fall in love, the elusive changes in mood, nervous, excited, joyful, and timid. Feelings of heart-flipped can never be suppressed, the harder they are suppressed, the stronger they will grow, then they will occupy everything in life. I believe that love is something the most complicated, most chaotic, but the most lively. I believe that no matter what kind of boys and girls, when they fall for one person, they are the most innocent ones.
This work is a wall made up of a large number of soft PVC boards, and is also a statue. The overlapping layers of transparent PVC boards create a perfect interaction with the light and shadow. Under the action of the heat gun, the PVC boards are randomly and naturally deformed, and are fused under the high temperature. The collaboration between them is elegant and harmonious. The wall is transparent and almost invisible indeed, but it can be shocking. Just like admiring someone, it is a trivial thing, but it can also be vital, sometimes it will occupy all your attention. The wall is also agile and soft, giving the audience a sense of growth, just as person's heart with infinite tenderness.

Converge汇聚
Artist：Daisy Dai作者：戴玉树
Material：Coca-Cola Box, White Elastic Fabric and cotton thread材料：可口可乐框，白色弹力面料，棉线
作品介绍：这面墙的灵感来源于废弃的可口可乐框，它是用于收集摆放可乐的塑料容器。
我被容器内部收纳的结构所吸引，当多只可乐瓶整齐的被放进容器后形成一件，方便携带运输。
我用柔软的布料绷在框架表面，用线穿过框架中间，穿过布料，去探索凹凸变化的结构。在有光影的情况下，每一个框子上的点，都会折射出一种深邃的灰色。化零为整便是我的设计理念。单元体中每一个凹点形成了光线的汇聚；20个白色单元体汇聚成一面具有秩序感的墙，纯粹简洁而有力度。
Introduction: The inspiration of this ‘wall’ is from a discarded Coca-Cola box. It is used to place Coca Cola.
I am attracted by the special structure inside. When there are some bottles of Coca-Cola in the box, they will become a unit as the Coca-Cola box and it is easy to carry it. I stretch the soft fabric on the surface of the box. After that, I use fish tape thread through the middle of the box, in order to explore the structure. Then it became a concave point. Every point on the surface reflects a deep color under the light. So my concept is to make them as a unit. Each points of the unit converge together, so that 20 white units converge together into a wall with sense of order, which is pure, simple and powerful..3

“我想表达的主题是'Equality（平等）'，最初是想做成彩虹旗的颜色，后来考虑到实际呈现的效果问题。选择白色，不仅是因为彩虹在散射之前是白色的光，还考虑到既然要表达Equality，就不应该给每个人打上“色彩”的标签。而且作品在灯光下的阴影呈现的是DNA的形状，这也是每个人最本质的状态。”--- 高嘉遥
作品介绍：在散射以前…光是什么颜色？白色。
在诸如性别/种族/性取向/社会阶级的标签以前…我们都是什么？人类。
在以前，我们都是一样的。这并不是一堵真正的墙。

Ordinary’s extraordinary寻常里的不寻常

作品介绍：塑料瓶是我们日常生活中很常见的物品，人们通常习惯把用过的塑料瓶丢掉。环境受到了极大的破坏，人们也说着没有成真的标语。但是，当把塑料瓶聚集在一起建成一堵墙，又有了不寻常的效果。
Introduction：Plastic bottle is one of the most ordinary things that we use every single day. People throw away the bottles after they have consumed them. This results in serious environmental problems and we say slogans that never come true.However, combing the bottles together produces another interesting and extraordinary effect. Perpendicular lines and shapes 矗立的线和面

作品介绍：
这个作品是根据构成主义的理论以及我个人对“墙”的功能性的理解而铸造的。构成主义强调抽象和纯粹的几何形状;构成主义认为，雕塑是由独立的元素组成的。雕塑是由线条和平面等独立的元素组合而成的。根据这个概念，雕塑是一个做加法而不是减法的过程（意思等同于雕塑是由材料堆砌而成而不是被挖出来的)。
所以我选择使用亚克力的管和板的堆叠来构建这面墙。
Introduction：This work was cast by constructivist theory and my understanding of the function of the "wall." Constructivism emphasizes abstract and pure geometric shapes. Constructivism believes that sculpture is made up of independent elements. The statue is a combination of separate components such as lines and planes. According to this concept, the sculpture is a process of addition rather than subtraction (meaning that sculpture is made up of materials rather than being dug up).
So I chose to build this wall using a stack of acrylic tubes and plates.
