| STEP是Sixth Term Examination Papers的简称，由Cambridge Assessment组织，共3卷，卷1、卷2、卷3难度依次增加。每年的6月中旬开始考试，全球统一出卷，统一考试，试卷统一寄回剑桥大学考试中心批改。 想申请以下大学专业的考生必须或可能需要参加STEP数学考试，其成绩作为录取要求之一。 ★剑桥大学 STEP is used as part of almost all conditional offers in Mathematics: ● Mathematics ● Computer Science with Mathematics ● Mathematics with Physics ★Some Colleges may use STEP for other courses: ● Chemical Engineering via Engineering ● Economics ● Engineering ● Natural Sciences ★华威大学 The following courses may require candidates to sit one or more STEP papers ● Mathematics ● Mathematics(MMATH) ● Mathematics and Business Studies ● Mathematics and Economics ● Mathematics and Philosophy ● Mathematics and Statistics ● Mathematics and Statistics ● MMORSE (Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics) ● MORSE (Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics) 下列几所大学的数学专业鼓励申请人参加STEP考试，参加STEP考试可视作入学要求。 ● Imperial College London，帝国理工学院 ● King's College London，伦敦国王学院 ● University College London，伦敦大学学院（UCL） ● University of Bath，巴斯大学 ● University of Bristol，布里斯托大学 牛津大学数学专业采用MAT考试，但学校鼓励申请人参加step考试。这几年各大学对STEP成绩要求均有所提高。 主要表现两个方面： ① STEP三张卷子中，原先有部分大学专业只需考一张STEP卷子，现在需要考2张STEP卷子 ② STEP成绩要求最低是2等级，部分大学专业直接要求提供2个1等级。 |
